Projects (Pre Phase)

The first funding phase covers 1st July, 2005 to 31st March, 2008. The projects selected are located in Latin America, Africa and Asia. In close cooperation with local partners from science, industry, public bodies and civil society, the German teams will devise and implement solution-oriented innovation strategies and management concepts for selected cities. Their topics include: housing and construction, nutrition and urban agriculture, public health and quality of life, urban planning and governance, energy supply and consumption, mobility and transport, water supply, waste treatment, and environmental management.
