Projects

The funding programme covers currently nine projects in Asia, Africa and Latin America. The research is conducted by inter- and transdisciplinary teams in reference to model cities and model regions. Thereby German consortia cooperate with corresponding teams in the partner countries.

Since the beginning of the main phase (2008) the programme focuses on energy- and climate efficiency in urban growth centres.
